Live Edge River Tray, Unique Flowing Copper River - Table Centerpiece

A very unique serving, grazing tray. This is made from three pieces of wood with a copper resin river flowing through the tray. This tray is thick and heavy. Frankly I could not identify the wood I used on this piece, it was in really bad shape. It has great spalting, grain, and insect damage throughout. I had to stabilize the wood with a thin resin mix to penetrate deep and keep this wood out of the landfill or the burn pile. In the end the work paid off, it is awesome.
The bottom of the tray has rubber feet to protect your surfaces and metal handles to make it easy to move around.
Finally for the finish, I use a food safe finish which is easy to maintain, but still allows the wood to feel and look like wood.
