Kris Kringle Christmas Market
Come see BCN Woodcrafts for the second year at the Kris Kringle Christmas Market in La Plata MD.
Friday 12/12/24: 4pm - 8pm, Saturday 12/13/24: 9am - 8pm, Sunday 12/14/24: 10am - 3pm
Modeled after the famous markets in Germany, this annual event at the fairgrounds offers light displays, holiday food, handmade crafts from local artists/crafters, children activities, shopping, music, and much more.
Activities will include Santa’s arrival, holiday fireworks, Christmas tree lighting, Strolling Carolers, music from local school choruses and bands, an array of sales by local non-profit groups such as the Boy Scouts, children’s activities run by the 4H club, a lighted holiday path and Christmas Village. The McConchie School House will also be open.

Oregon Ridge Nature Center Council Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
Tickets can be purchased at the door for a breakfast of pancakes with pure maple syrup, sausage, orange juice, coffee, tea or milk. In addition to the breakfast, guests enjoy live music, both a box raffle and dollar raffles throughout the morning, along with sales of pure maple syrup, maple candy, maple cotton candy, honey, flowers, Folkmanis puppets and Nature books. This family-friendly event is a community tradition you won’t want to miss.

Oregon Ridge Honey Harvest Festival
Enjoy a variety of food trucks offering smoothies, artisanal beer, coffee, donuts, and fantastic BBQ. Shop from over 25 local craft vendors and honey farms offering a plethora of honey products and happy to talk about the practice of beekeeping. Watch cider press demonstrations or take a turn at a wool spinning wheel or loom.

Dakota’s Army Fundraiser Cornhole Tournament

Come out to throw some bags and support a good cause! Dakota Dixon is a local young boy living in Glen Rock. He is currently in Hershey Med battling a very rare and aggressive brain cancer! We have to pull together as his army to help raise money for him and his family!
Spring Vendor Market @ The B.C. Brewery
Come stop out to the B.C. Brewery and say hi. BCN Woodcrafts will be there for this event with some cool items for the home bar and anywhere else in your house. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

The launch of this family-friendly event several years ago was a great success! The Charles County Fair Board and Christmas Market committee want to encourage locals and visitors alike to come out to enjoy the music, shopping, and tasty Christmas treats.
We will have fresh holiday decorations available for purchase from local greens collected from local yards and fields.
The official tree lighting and arrival of Santa Claus will be held on Friday, December 8th at 5:00 pm.
Santa will be on site all through the Market operating hours!
Small Business Saturday at The York Merchant
BCN Woodcrafts will be at their Booth at the York Merchant.
Join us on Small Business Saturday to shop local. We have over 100 small businesses inside The York Merchant & The Wireworks Exchange! Skip the mall and #ShopLocal. We will also be doing some Give-A-Ways on Saturday!

BCN Woodcrafts has donated a Black Walnut Live Edge Side Table to the Oregon Ridge Nature Center for their Pancake Breakfast Raffle. Stop by for a great breakfast, enter for a chance to win the table in their raffle, and support a great community organization.
