Pear is sourced locally and is sustainable, this piece couples the beauty and smooth texture of the pear with the resin river that is sandwiched between two pieces of the wood.
With feet on the bottom to keep the board in place and to protect your surfaces, it is ready to serve.
The grain is deep and draws your eye into the wood. And since there is no stain, even better for displaying foods.
I use a food safe finish which is easy to maintain, but still allows the wood to feel and look like wood.
