This is a beautiful board to display and share your wine with a friend. It is setup with two recesses to hold your wine glasses and space in the center of the board for a bottle or two.
Pear is sourced locally and is sustainable, this piece couples the beauty and smooth texture of the pear with the engraving for fun.
There are feet on the bottom to keep the board in place and to protect your surfaces. The bottom of the recesses are filled with resin to protect the wood and because it looks beautiful.
The engraving on the board is fun to bring a smile: "Alcohol may be man's worst enemy, but the Bible says love your enemy"
The grain is deep and draws your eye into the wood. And since there is no stain, even better for displaying foods.
I use a food safe finish which is easy to maintain, but still allows the wood to feel and look like wood.
