This board is perfectly sized for four stemless wine glasses included and a bottle of wine, not included. This board is wormy maple, and a quick confession, I have an obsession with wormy maple. Whenever I find it, I buy it. The wood is tight grained and has incredible flourishes throughout, along with a few bore holes where insects once lived.
There are four holes for the included stemless wine glasses that measure 2 3/8" in diameter. The holes have a flat bottom and the grain pattern continues through the holes.
I use a food safe finish which is easy to maintain, but still allows the wood to feel and look like wood.
